Whoops! it's been a while....
Wow, where has this week gone? I always laugh when people say it's been one thing after another but this week it has definitely felt that way! What with cookers, cars, sandals sun burn, see-saws, you name it, it has happened this week.....
I haven't done any crafting as I am working on some new stamp designs that we can take along to Ross Papercrafts at Don Valley in June, they are coming along lovely so fingers crossed they will be ready to be made soon!
I do have a wedding card to do, so watch this space!
I can't post without adding a picture so here is Little lady enjoying the sunshine, so much so we even got around to planting out out lettuce! Well, when I say we, all I have to do is make the hole (if she digs it we end up in Austrialia!) and get the plant out of the pot!

Awesome Boyz
I love how these two cards turned out, they both use a new mask I got a couple of weeks ago and I think it works perfectly with my Awesome Boyz and Tyre Trackz stamp sets.
To make this card I randomly stamped the long tyre track in clear ink and embossed it in clear embossing powder. Then inked the mask over the top when I was happy with the colour, I then distressed around the edge of the card. Next I rubbed the ink from the clear embossing powder to make it stand out more, then over the top I added the "scratchy lines" (I did this by inking the edge of my stamping block).
On another piece of card I stamped the triangle, saying and tracks. I cut them both out. With the triangle I covered it in ultra thick embossing powder but I gave it a few coats so it is really glossy up close. With the trye track I distressed along the edges.
Finally I made the A5 card, by folding an A3 piece of card at 21cm then cutting at 14.5cm up the folded edge. Next I cut a piece of card to mount my backing onto and added Pewter Distress Stain around the edges. I then attached my backing card along with eyelets and brads. Next I attached the trye track and the triangle.
To finish off the card I added the inside then wrapped some string around it.

12 Tags: April No.2
This is the second tag I made this month. This time I used darker acrylic paints and more water.
I love how the wings turned out on these dragon flies all I did was stamp it onto velum, cut out only the wings then stapled them onto the tag and add a tiny bit of Pewter Distress Stain. To highlight the bodies I just added Glossy Accents.
The stamps I used on this tag are all from Dimension Stamps:
- Realistic Dragonfly
- Newspaper Print Background
- Tomorrow Verse
- Grand Word Perfect (1)
- Forever Floral

12 Tags: April No. 1
Tim's April tag is just fabulous and when I saw it I instantly had ideas bouncing around my head so I ended up making two tags!
Here is the first one nothing like the original but it would be rather boring if we all crafted the same hey!
The background is made using acrylic paints which I watered down then "pulled" the tag through, it gives such a great effect, even if I did make a BIG mess in the process!
For this tag I used:
- Crafty Roo Designs Stamps: Build Your Own Butterfly and Small Cog Corners.
- Dimension Stamps Stamps: Newspaper Print Background, Grand word Perfect 1 and 2 and Forever Floral.

Inks/Stains: Distress inks: Milled Lavender and Dusty Concorde. Memento: Tuxedo Black. Glitter Paste: Copper
Other items: Tim Holtz Die Tattered Florals and Tattered Leaves. Spellbinders mixed media playtime. Brad and bead cap and finally some black ribbon.

I'm in love.....
This weekend has been crazy busy so I haven't got any crafting done. HOWEVER.....
On Sunday I went to the papercrafts show at Leigh and found Glitter Paste! I know what you are thinking I am not normally a glitter lover but I bought a tub of Glitter Paste as it looked great fun to work with and I had a quick play tonight....
I will finish it off tomorrow but I am loving how it looks!

Tick Tock Tick Tock.....
I can not tell you how long I have been wanting to make this chain, forever just doesn't seem long enough!
Every time I have sat down to play with my beads and bobs recently my mojo whips out the room at 100mph. However this weekend it stuck around.......
I am really pleased with how it turned out and can't wait to wear it!
